New York Knicks Waive Marshall Plumlee For Make Cap Space

Marshall Plumlee will no longer report to Madison Square Garden for home games. The New York Knicks announced they had released Plumlee in a press release early this morning.

This comes after the news that the Knicks will sign RFA Tim Hardaway Jr. to a mega offer sheet in a move that many fans have questioned. The Knicks needed to create cap space and waiving Plumlee opens up some room for the Knicks to offer Hardaway Jr.
