The New York Knicks are interested in Charlotte Hornets rookie Malik Monk and apparently tried to acquire him in a trade before the trade deadline.
“Prior to the deadline, I heard he was somebody that they were listening to offers for already. I heard some noise the Knicks were going for him prior to the deadline,” Kevin O’Connor said on The Ringer NBA Show, per Joe Giglio of NJ.com. “It’s odd, maybe they’ve soured on him quickly.”
This isn’t the first time that the Knicks have shown interest in Monk.
