The season is near for the New York Knicks, with training camp starting later this month. It opens the prep for the next 82 games, as the team meets for one of the first times officially.
There is still roster business to settle before training camp, too. The Knicks have an open two-way contract to use, with 19 players set for Westchester. They do not have to use it, but viewing the most players possible before the season begins makes sense, presenting New York with roster alternatives in case of changes.
One potential option is Hasheem Thabeet, who, among other teams, previously worked out with the Knicks earlier this summer.
