The New York Knicks, at 15-62, own the NBA’s worst record, with just five games left on the schedule. For the players, there is pride to strive for. For the coaches, it allows them to take a longer look at players that may have been stuck on the bench or were receiving fewer minutes beforehand.
Well, a G League standout will become the next player to have that opportunity, as the Knicks have signed Westchester’s Billy Garrett to a contract for the rest of the season, according to ESPN’s Ian Begley.
Garrett was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal during the preseason, but was waived and reported to Westchester, where he has spent all of this campaign averaging 16.
