The draft lottery will soon arrive and sort out the top 14 of 2019, with the New York Knicks sitting atop the chaos since they can only fall as low as fifth overall. That’s with 14 percent odds to win the lottery and take the first pick.
Until then, with the NBA’s worst record in 2018-19, the Knicks project at the top of mock drafts. They also own a second round pick from the Houston Rockets, as New York’s own is with Brooklyn, due to a 2014 trade that shipped off Travis Outlaw to lower the luxury tax.
