After impressing in the summer league, the New York Knicks gave Kenny Wooten an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post. With this, the undrafted big man is guaranteed $50,000 if he stays with the organization’s G League team, the Westchester Knicks, for 45 days.
Wooten stood out with his 2.5 blocks per game earlier this month and displayed enough defensive upside to warrant a training camp spot, even if he does not stick with the main roster.
This may not be the only Exhibit 10 contract the Knicks hand out, as they can offer it to more potential candidates for their G League roster, from the summer league team that went 2-3.
