The New York Knicks made the tough decision last month to release Marshall Plumlee in favor of the cap space needed to sign Tim Hardaway Jr.
The 25-year-old is yet to sign with another team, and it’s possible he could end up back in New York. Ian Begley of ESPN reports that the Knicks are “still in touch” with Plumlee and hope to have a chance at re-signing him.
Per Begley, the former Duke Blue Devil is expected to decide on his next team shortly.

Plumlee, a favorite of former president Phil Jackson, won over many in the organization.
