The New York Knicks have effectively concluded the construction of the main roster. The starting lineup has been formed, the sixth man has been established, and role players have been signed to provide depth down the roster.
The Knicks still have one main roster spot open, however, which leaves the front office with the responsibility of inviting the right players to training camp.
New York officially announced the signing of combo guard Ron Baker to a partially guaranteed one-year deal on Monday, August 1. It was a confirmation that Baker, a Summer League standout, would join the Knicks at training camp.
