Training camp is approaching and the New York Knicks just took another step to solidify the roster. The team signed four players including guards Amir Hinton and Lamar Peters along with forwards Kenny Wooten and VJ King.
All four players appeared on the Knicks’ Las Vegas Summer League team with Wooten making the most eye-opening contributions. In four games, the Oregon University product only averaged 1.8 points and 3.0 rebounds, but his athleticism and defensive intensity stood out. Wooten notched 2.5 blocks per game in Las Vegas.
Hinton hails from Division II Shaw University after leading the country in scoring with 29.
