Not only has the rook impressed us during his first taste of NBA Summer League action on Sunday. He’s viciously throwing it down.
New York Knicks rook Kevin Knox opened up his NBA exhibition career with a vicious flush against the Atlanta Hawks in transition. He was even awarded style points for the rim hang time.
Later, he abused his defender on the backdoor cut and soared through the air via a Frank Ntilikina pass.
Knox, 18, appears extremely athletic and long on the court.
The 6-foot-9, 215-pound ninth overall pick by way of Kentucky finished with a team-high 22 points on 8-of-20 shooting from the floor in 30 minutes.
