Zion Williamson and Ja Morant could be all but guaranteed to land first and second overall, respectively, in the 2019 NBA Draft. That leaves the New York Knicks next to make a pick, potentially the player speculated to them in the perceived “top three” of this class: RJ Barrett.
Once the top high school recruit, Barrett may not land at No. 1 in June, but could fall to the Knicks and become their highest draft pick since Patrick Ewing in 1985.
If this prospect looms, Barrett already likes the idea of playing in Manhattan, per SNY, as his Pro Day Tuesday.
