For the first time since the 2010-11 season, the New York Knicks are embracing a youth movement. The previous attempt ended abruptly, when Donnie Walsh traded just about everyone not named Amar’e Stoudemire for Carmelo Anthony.
This time around, it appears as though Phil Jackson is going to see this process through.
One of the members of New York’s long-term vision appears to be Marshall Plumlee. Though he hasn’t been assured of his return in 2017-18, the opportunity has presented itself for Plumlee to prove himself in 2016-17.
