The New York Knicks have invested a significant measure of faith in the upside and development of Frank Ntilikina. In addition to selecting Ntilikina at No. 8 overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Knicks have surrounded the incoming rookie with veterans who project to alleviate early pressure.
One of the veterans whom the Knicks are trusting to help Ntilikina develop recently offered an intriguing evaluation of the French phenom.
Ntilikina has become the most polarizing player in the 2017 draft class. He’s a 6’5″ point guard with a 7’0″ wingspan, elite defensive potential, and a solid outside shot, but his lack of exposure to NBA-caliber competition has prompted questions pertaining to whether he can realize his potential.
