For the New York Knicks, the offseason can’t arrive soon enough. They have lost five straight games, head coach David Fizdale is angry and wants new players and injuries continue to mount for this young, inexperienced team that struggles to find a positive moment.
The first step of the summer is the draft. With their 14-61 record, the Knicks project to own one of the top picks. The lottery precedes it, however, to officially decide the order of the first 14 teams.
Seven games remain to sort the situation, but as the distance spreads between these teams’ records, the order starts to solidify.
