After over two months, the lottery for the 2019 NBA Draft has started to take shape. Given the New York Knicks’ losing record, they sit in the middle of the pack of teams that have a chance at the No. 1 overall pick in June.
The Knicks have fallen into the lottery in each year since 2014, although some of those picks were sent away in trades. That left them with Kristaps Porzingis (2015), Frank Ntilikina (2017) and Kevin Knox (2018).
Now, at 9-25, the Knicks seem all but guaranteed to make another lottery choice.
