New York Knicks: Porzingis, Lee play big minutes in NBA Africa Game

New York Knicks fans received a break from the offseason drama surrounding Kristaps Porzingis on Saturday. Instead, they watched him do what he does best: ball.

The power forward participated in the second NBA Africa Game, which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa. The exhibition pitted NBA players from around the world against players native to the African continent.

For the second time, Team World came out on top, 108-97. Despite Team Africa’s loss, new Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo was named the game’s MVP.

Porzingis led Team World in playing time at 27:46. He scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds, ultimately sporting a +12 plus/minus.
