New York Knicks fans will forever remember the likes of Patrick Ewing, Walt Frazier, and Willis Reed for leading the team to multiple NBA Finals appearances. Not enough attention goes to the teams of the 1950s, which made three consecutive trips to the NBA Finals, thus helping to put the Association on the map.
Tragically, one of the men responsible for that wonderful age of Knicks basketball has passed away.
Vince Boryla played for the Knicks from 1949 to 1954, making the All-Star Game in 1951.
