As reported by Shams Charania of The Vertical on March 7, 2016, the New York Knicks have signed Tony Wroten to a multi-year contract. It had previously been reported as a three-year deal, but has since been downgraded to a two-year contract.
Per Ian Begley of ESPN New York, the second season of Wroten’s contract is only partially guaranteed.
More than a week has passed, and nothing has transpired by way of introducing Wroten to the Knicks’ current rotation. That may not happen at all in 2015-16, but New York took the next step towards developing Wroten as a future asset on March 16, 2016.
