Injuries have not played an overwhelming factor for the New York Knicks in 2018-19, but they were dealt an uneasy blow from the start, when Kristaps Porzingis was around and rehabbing a torn ACL. Courtney Lee had a strained neck that sat him for two months. Emmanuel Mudiay and Frank Ntilikina have their fair share of ailments, too, with the latter still out.
Unfortunately for the Knicks, in Friday night’s 109-83 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, another player left due to injury.
After attempting a play around the rim, Noah Vonleh‘s right leg landed awkwardly on the Spurs’ Dante Cunningham, causing the 23-year-old big man to hobble off the court and almost straight to the locker room.
