New York Knicks News Mix, 11/8/17: Kristaps Porzingis For Mayor?

Related Topics: New York Knicks, Bill de Blasio

Bill de Blasio was elected to a second term as mayor of New York City on Tuesday, but at least one person had New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis in mind. That’s right; the unicorn received a write-in vote in the midst of his dominant play.

The 22-year-old joked about the latest addition to his legacy to Ian Begley of ESPN New York.

“That’s pretty funny. I think I’m definitely ready for the job,” Porzingis told ESPN with a laugh. “People have a lot of imagination.”

Porzingis is out in Wednesday night’s game on the road against the Orlando Magic.
