The New York Knicks have dealt with injuries all season, dispersed across the roster. Allonzo Trier and Trey Burke already missed time, and Kevin Knox went down just three games into the year.
Mitchell Robinson was one of the most recent Knicks to suffer an injury, as he suffered a sprained left ankle on Dec. 14 against the Charlotte Hornets, missing each game since. The team is 1-8 without him.
Robinson was on the Knicks’ road trip across the Western Conference, which seemed to indicate his near availability. However, that changed before Monday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
