New York Knicks fans have spent the better part of Summer League marveling over incoming rookies Kevin Knox and Mitchell Robinson. Knox has been a force on the offensive end of the floor, and Robinson has been an awe-inspiring presence on defense.
While Robinson’s physical gifts are the talk of the town, it’s a mental trait that’s been the key to his success at Summer League.
Robinson is averaging 12.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 6.0 offensive boards, and 3.8 blocks through four Summer League games. He’s bordered on dominance on the defensive end of the floor, and has been pulling down offensive rebounds with relative ease.
