The New York Knicks have officially set a new bar for their worst loss of the 2017-18 NBA regular season. Admittedly playing without the top two scorers on the roster, New York was manhandled from start to finish during a 115-87 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Although most expected the Knicks to lose, it was uncomfortable to watch the team show no signs of life whatsoever against a bitter rival.
During the course of the game, criticism surprisingly mounted when head coach Jeff Hornacek pulled all five starters just three minutes into the third quarter. The game was essentially over at that point, but some questioned why the Knicks would admit defeat so early.
