Finding long-term head coaches for the New York Knicks has proved difficult. No one has lasted at least parts of five seasons since Jeff Van Gundy from 1996-2001. Coaches continue to cycle through, with five holding this spot since Mike D’Antoni‘s departure in 2012.
Struggling to win goes further than recent history, though, so who has the lowest winning percentages in franchise history? This does not include David Fizdale, who remains the coach of the Knicks right now:
- Larry Brown, .280: Brown spent one, disastrous season with the Knicks, including player feuds, despite receiving a lucrative, multi-year contract.
