The 2018-19 NBA season will arrive this fall and given its proximity, the build-up for the latest 82-game slate has already started. For the New York Knicks, it’s with preparation from their new head coach, David Fizdale, and the fresh faces that joined from the draft and free agency.
Among those that will return, however, is Kristaps Porzingis, the team’s face of the franchise. When he actually appears remains to be seen, with an in-progress recovery from a torn ACL.
Porzingis was on a trajectory to superstardom, but the injury set him back for the second half of the season and into the upcoming campaign.
