The New York Knicks are dangerously close to emerging as one of the top eight teams in the Eastern Conference. The home court advantage is back at The Mecca, the coaching staff is convincing the players to buy in on defense, and the young core is already delivering in big games.
Unfortunately, New York can’t seem to overcome the final hurdle to being a postseason-caliber team: Winning on the road.
The Knicks are 15-6 at Madison Square Garden, but boast a record of just 2-11 on the road. Those woes continued on Wednesday, Dec. 2, when they were outscored 21-14 in the fourth quarter of a 92-87 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
