New York Knicks: Kristaps Porzingis dominates Belgium at EuroBasket

New York Knicks phenom Kristaps Porzingis made an impressive international debut on Friday, September 1. Unfortunately, his 18 points and four blocks weren’t quite enough for Latvia to defeat the high-powered squad from Serbia.

One day later, Porzingis helped Latvia bounce back with a dominant 92-64 victory over Belgium—a win that was all about the second and fourth quarters.

Belgium outscored Latvia in the first and third quarters by a cumulative score of 47-40. Between the second and fourth quarters, however, Porzingis and his countrymen managed to outscore the Belgians by a dominant margin of 52-17.

One day after the loss to Serbia, Porzingis dominated Belgium with 27 points, six rebounds, one offensive board, two assists, two steals, and one block in 28 minutes.
