The New York Knicks are one of the most culturally diverse teams in the NBA. Including 2017 second-round draft pick Ognjen Jaramaz, who admittedly may be a draft-and-stash prospect, five of New York’s current players were born outside of the United States of America.
Come the 2017 NBA Africa Game, the Knicks’ diversity will be well-represented when two members of the starting five take the floor.
The NBA Africa Game is an exhibition outing that consists of Team World and Team Africa. The first NBA Africa Game, which was held in 2015, marked the first time that a major North American sports league hosted an outing on African soil.
