Throughout the 1990s, the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers were the most bitter of rivals. Patrick Ewing and Reggie Miller provided the Hall of Fame firepower, the postseason provided the backdrop to a number of legendary games and series, and the fans never hesitated to get involved.
On Monday, Dec. 4, the rivalry will resume when the Knicks travel to Indianapolis to play the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Monday will mark the second encounter between the Knicks and Pacers during the 2017-17 NBA regular season. The first time around, New York erased a 19-point deficit to defeat the Pacers by a score of 108-101 at Madison Square Garden.
