Joakim Noah’s first year with the New York Knicks hasn’t exactly gone according to plan. The All-NBA center struggled when he was on the court, missed 36 games because of injury, and was suspended for 20 games due to a violation of the league’s drug policy.
Unfortunately for Noah, the bad news continues to pour in, this time in the form of a surgery that will essentially eradicate his offseason.
Noah’s injuries have been as much of a story over the past two seasons as the star-caliber play that preceded them. He’s struggled to stay on the court and simply hasn’t looked like himself when he’s been able to play.
