The New York Knicks are approaching the third season of Joakim Noah‘s polarizing four-year contract. Polarizing is an admittedly generous term, as his salary has become a point of contempt for fans and executives alike.
As Noah prepares for his third season with the Knicks, however, he’s putting in the work to earn playing time under head coach David Fizdale.
Noah appeared in just seven games for the Knicks in 2017-18. He publicly feuded with former head coach Jeff Hornacek, was exiled from the team with months remaining in the season, and missed time earlier in the campaign due to a suspension for performance enhancing drugs.
