Few individuals in the NBA are more polarizing than New York Knicks team president Phil Jackson. Between his comments about Carmelo Anthony, his insistence upon running the triangle offense, and his carousel of coaches, Jackson hasn’t exactly been the most popular man in Manhattan.
Head coach Jeff Hornacek is often referred to as one of the primary victims of Jackson’s reign of perceived tyranny, but that may not be the case.
According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, Luke Kornet explained how Hornacek and Jackson balanced their input during pre-draft workouts.
While Hornacek ran the workout, Jackson also interjected at times to offer “advice and pointers.
