Jeanie Buss recently came to the aid of the most recent Knicks pariah, Phil Jackson. Marc Berman of the New York Post quotes Buss from a recent interview with The Athletic:
“He should’ve made sure (to control) who was surrounding him, because the people close to you will take the knife and put it in your back,”
Certainly, this could be seen as a shot at current President Steve Mills. Mills was the only surviving member of a front office that now has a completely different look.
