Summer league is not about wins and losses for the New York Knicks. These games are inconsequential, so point differentials are meaningless. Instead, it focuses on what promise these young players show, whether they are recent draft picks or are fighting to play professional basketball.
The star of the show, though, by far, was Ignas Brazdeikis, the Knicks’ 2019 second-round pick. While the focus was on bigger names, their 20-year-old broke out with offensive moves all over the court, finishing with 30 points on 11-for-18 shooting and three makes from behind the arc.
Ignas Brazdeikis (30 PTS) fires from deep and we're all tied up at 96!
