New York Knicks: How players sent to Mavericks fared after midseason trade

The New York Knicks surprised in late January, when they traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks. Anthony Davis had just announced his trade request, and the New Orleans Pelicans seemed like the first team ready to make a move, so the 7-foot-3 Latvian as the first big name to depart was a head-turner.

Porzingis netted DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Matthews, Dennis Smith Jr. and two first-round picks from the Mavericks. Nearly six months later, only Smith and the picks remain with the Knicks.

There were other players sent to the Mavericks, however.
