The New York Knicks are a whole new team…maybe preparing for a potential LeBron James arrival this fall?
Regardless, with the hiring of David Fizdale, the Knicks believe they have found their man at head coach. Now, they have hired on former Dallas Mavericks assistant Kaleb Canales to serve as an assistant coach, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Dallas Mavericks assistant Kaleb Canales is joining the New York Knicks coaching staff, league sources tell ESPN. Canales has been with the Mavericks since 2013. He was the interim head coach with Blazers in 2012.

Canales not only served as an assistant for the Mavericks but he also played a key role in helping their offense run more effectively.
