After such a great game against the Hawks on Tuesday, Dec. 17, this defeat is totally disheartening. The Heat led the game from start to finish. The New York Knicks could not make nor defend the 3-pointer with just 10 of 34 from the outside as the Heat trounced them, 129-114.
At the end of the first quarter, the Knicks were already down by 19 and the nightmare continued. The Knicks once again played no perimeter defense. The Heat were 18 for 38 from long distance connecting whenever and wherever they wanted. Not so for the Knicks, who shot 44 percent overall and just 29 percent from beyond the arc.
