New York Knicks Get Wake Up Call From Rockets In Blowout Loss

The Knicks got a little dose of reality from a familiar face on Wednesday night. Former head coach Mike D’Antoni—run out of the Big Apple by Carmelo Anthony—led the Houston Rockets to a blowout victory over the Knicks, 119-97.

Houston made 19 of their incredible 52 three-point attempts while New York made just eight. The Knicks just aren’t equipped to keep up with such a high-powered offensive attack.

Especially not on a night when Kristaps Porzingis struggles. The unicorn only put up 19 points on 7-of-18 shooting in 28 minutes. A big night from the Rockets spoiled a good game from the $71 million man.
