Nearly a year has passed since the New York Knicks made not only the best signing in 2022 free agency but the best free agency signing in the organization’s history by inking Jalen Brunson to a four-year, $104 million deal. The Knicks won’t come close to topping that this year, but after making it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the first time in 10 years, New York is in a good position this offseason.
The Knicks have access to the full $12.4 million midlevel exception thanks to Josh Hart exercising his player option, meaning that New York can sign a player using the MLE, such as Donte DiVincenzo.
