The New York Knicks will likely enter training camp with one roster spot remaining. With 15 players signed to the main roster and one player inked to a two-way contract, the Knicks have one last void to fill.
New York has addressed that issue by signing three undrafted free agents to potentially split time between the NBA and the newly branded G League.
New York made waves on August 17 by signing former Wisconsin Badgers hybrid forward Nigel Hayes. A day later, the signings continued with former Pittsburgh Panthers small forward Jamel Artis.
In a post to the organization’s official Twitter account, the Knicks announced the signing of a third player: Former Florida State Seminoles standout Xavier Rathan-Mayes.
