The New York Knicks selected All-Star point guard Mark Jackson in 1987 and All-NBA floor general Rod Strickland in 1988. In the 31 years that have followed, the Knicks have failed to draft a point guard who has gone on to make the All-Star Game.
Perhaps that trend could end in 2020, when the Knicks will have a chance to find a point guard who can lock down the position for years to come.
