Enes Kanter’s tenure with the New York Knicks came to an end at the trade deadline last Thursday when the organization waived him, sending him into the free agent market.
Less than a week later and Kanter has found a new home in the Portland Trail Blazers, agreeing to a new deal according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
In about a year and a half in New York, Kanter was a productive member of the starting unit, averaging 14.0 points and 10.8 rebounds in a little over 25 minutes per game.
