New York Knicks’ Derrick Rose Undergoes “Uncomplicated” Surgery

Derrick Rose will return to basketball in 3–6 weeks after successfully going through surgery.

According to New York Public Relations, Rose underwent uncomplicated left knee arthroscopy for a medical meniscus tear. Rose’s surgery was performed by Dr. Brian Cole.

Since Rose’s big ACL injury in 2012, this has been his best season. Rose averaged 18 points on 47 percent shooting while dishing out 4.4 assists.

After being named the league’s youngest MVP ever in 2011, he tore his ACL in his left knee.
