The 2018-19 season, even with eight games left, proved to be an obstacle for the New York Knicks. Among the problems, defense took center stage in their losses. From blowout losses to the Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz and the lowly Phoenix Suns, the Knicks struggled to contain players and were throttled on the basketball court.
Changes are on the way, however, with most of this roster set for free agency. New players will arrive for head coach David Fizdale to work with, and he’s aware of the adjustments needed to transform this team from the bottom of the Eastern Conference to a potential playoff team.
