This week, Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant made an appearance on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning. In the interview, the veteran, who’s nursing a ruptured Achilles sustained in June’s NBA Finals, was asked about the New York Knicks‘ inability to land big-name free agents.
“That whole brand of the Knicks to them is not as cool as let’s say the Golden State Warriors or even the Lakers or the Nets now. The cool thing right now is not the Knicks,” Durant said.
On Wednesday, Knicks head coach David Fizdale responded to those comments from the 10-time All-Star, per Chris Iseman of North Jersey.
