New York Knicks: Carmelo Anthony continues to eye NBA return

In September 2017, Carmelo Anthony left the New York Knicks via trade after years of back and forth in the media between he and Phil Jackson, the bloated contract Jackson gave him in 2014 and the four consecutive losing teams Anthony was on.

The road has proven difficult for one of the 2003 draft class’s stars since. An unspectacular year in Oklahoma City ended with a trade last summer, which took him back to head coach Mike D’Antoni and the Houston Rockets. This lasted just 10 games, however, before Anthony was sent home.
