The New York Knicks last made the postseason in 2013, when Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler were still rostered. No group to play since approached one of the Eastern Conference’s coveted eight spots, including two seasons of 17-65 records.
Seven free agents and two draft additions have one player thinking the postseason is a possibility, however.
In an interview with Hoops Hype’s Alex Kennedy, Bobby Portis, who signed with the Knicks earlier this month, does not feel playing after the regular season ends is unrealistic:
