The four scheduled summer league games have come and gone for the New York Knicks. They went 1-3 in that stretch, before the tournament that will determine a champion and close this month’s basketball slate.
The attention towards New York’s team focused on the draft picks — RJ Barrett and Ignas Brazdeikis — and the group of second-year players trying to build off their rookie seasons. This year’s summer league was not littered with past first-year talents, as players sat out due to injury, rest or other circumstances.
Other players were around, however, including on the Knicks roster trying to make an impression.
