Through six regular season games, the New York Knicks are not terrible. They’ve played hard and made some impressionable plays for the future.
Slight improvement will be needed for the Knicks to make the playoffs, but after a disastrous 2014-15 season, it’s been a successful start to the 2015-16 season.
The most obvious note about this team is that they play hard. It’s a trait that New Yorkers havewanted for: a group of guys who hustle, play good defense, make that extra pass and play some good, hard basketball.
On the first and second units, the Knicks send out guys who are willing to play gritty basketball, and it’s a plus.
