Through three preseason games, the New York Knicks have received their first look at Kevin Knox in NBA action. The team’s top pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Knox flashed outside range and an ability to battle for rebounds under the glass at 6-foot-9.
The Kentucky product’s most recent game was against the New Orleans Pelicans when he had 12 points and 10 rebounds on a team-high 34 minutes. Head coach David Fizdale’s desire to play him has been apparent, and that should continue into the regular season.
Knox’s skill set has taken notice of NBA players, too, including the Pelicans’ Anthony Davis.
